Dok mai khrop traiis a decorative ornament made from flowers or other materials, used to place over a set of monastic robes (the trai or trai jiwon) for beauty and auspiciousness at merit‑making events such as ordinations and the Kathin ceremony. It is adapted from fresh-flower designs to be more durable. Versions include fabric flowers or plastic frames decorated to resemble real flowers. It is also known as khlum trai thammasorn.
